surely this article in Oil and Gas International will clear it up. I don’t, of course, think it’s as simple as “Bush wants more oil for the US” – not by a longshot. But, as Billy Bragg wrote recently, the price of oil is significant in this whole thing.

Google Search: michael boyle
There’s been a lot of discussion about changes to Goggle’s engine, but all I know is that when I slipped from the top of the list on a search for my name, all I had to do was make sure my name was in the title, not just mikel dot org.

Weblogs are contagious!
My colleague Tamara has just started a weblog called I-Space, and although she’ll certainly disclaim the design as simply the product of a prefab template, no matter, I think it looks great. She has already imprinted her voice on her space, and I’m very curious to see how that changes over time. One of the most fascinating things in the weblog world is how writing and style change over time, from one thing to another, depending on a dozen variables at least. So welcome Tamara, and hope you enjoy this odd kind of communication!
