Astute readers
will notice that I’ve upgraded the list of links over on the side there. I added Consolation Champs, David Hudson’s Rewired weblog, and (finally) Brad Graham’s Bradlands. I’d been thinking of ditching the whole list – it’s so old school – but then again, it’s useful to me. So it stays.
The headline is terrible
but the news is as expected: Judge Orders Napster to Eliminate Copyright Songs. Of course we all know that all songs are under copyright. I think they mean “copyrights owned by the major labels”. The Wired News story is better.
I’ve been a big
fan of David Hudson for ages, since even before the first issue of Rewired. Nevertheless I missed two notable events: first, Rewired is back – it has been back for several months now, in fact. Number two: he has a weblog. These are both Good Things.
