but (perhaps) surprisingly functional. I like the new design for Shift Magazine‘s website. Reminds me a lot of some of the designer’s design sites around. I especially like the navigation bar at the top that helps you to easily navigate disparate sections of the site.

The Brill’s Content cover
story on weblogs, Brill’s Content: Human Portals, has been posted on their site. It’s an interesting article. And interesting how the coverage of weblogs has been changing and expanding.
I think this week
has marked my all-time lowest number of weblog entries, and it’s going to get worse before it gets better. I’m going away to the first cottage party of the summer this weekend, and then I’m off on a business trip at the beginning of next week. At that, however, I am working on an ambitious (if hidden) weblog project at work, which is at a big multinational corp.
I subscribe to
The Economist, but I keep finding and reading interesting articles before I get my copy. And more, using their website I can easily get all the context I need – whether to learn more about the story or to judge for myself what their particular angle on a developing story has been. Kinda makes my subscription seem pointless.
