kids – the venerable Mr. Utsler (I actually think I might be older than he is) has redesigned Metacubed and the rest. I must say that it looks great, and will work very well for me first thing in the morning when I’m trying to figure out whether I’m quite alive or not.
I just added some
sites to the list to the left. I actually do use that list to check the sites I enjoy – some I check more often, some less. They’re grouped in a very rough manner according to rough links I make between the sites. So, for instance, Matt Haughey‘s site is near MetaFilter. And the Montrealers are together. Like that. It’s not a ranking of any kind.
I’m in a nice neighbourhood
now. My Webloggers ring neighbour to the right is none other than Mr. Joe Utsler, aka Crazy Uncle Joe and the venerable host of Metacubed, the meta weblog for meta webloggers. To the right is a very green Prattle, from Toronto as near as I can tell.
James Gleick wrote an article
about the problems with software patents that cover online practices and methods. It’s a pretty good article, though intended for an audience who’s never heard of the issue. [via MetaFilter]
Deepleap.org
Deepleap.org. As I wrote at Metafilter, the Deepleapers seem to be making a lot of really great moves.
