Personally, I don’t care about any of the awards for weblogs. SXSW is moderately interesting, but more in a “let’s cheer them all on” way than this or any of the other small “awards” that are handed out each year. At the same time, though, I know that some reaction to this whole thing is going to prompt Dave to write something that makes me cringe. It’s like watching Three’s Company or something – it’s just so predictable.
