this month they have opened up to the public an online interview with Bruce Sterling. It’s called State of the World 2005 and the interviewer is Jon Lebkowsky, himself a longtime online community activist and pundit. The interview is proceding apace here: inkwell.vue, Topic 234. Go take a look.
Now that Aaron is skipping town
however there is even more impetus for me to go to YULBlog First Wednesdays. I’ve never taken my “founder” status very seriously, but with 3 of the first 5 members living elsewhere (San Francisco, Toronto, and soon Vancouver) and the fourth otherwise engaged, it will be good form to show up more than once in a while! After all, it is probably the longest-running weblogger meeting in the world.
