My (second) alma mater

January 19, 2007 by Michael Boyle

My (second) alma mater

and former employer, Concordia University, has unveiled a new visual identity for the university… and it really bites. My friend AJ did a good job of noting its failures, to which I will only add that the logo they’ve come up with seems to be almost completely inflexible – resizing will be a nightmare with the tiny washed out beige text, and in 2-bit applications (like many fax machines) it will doubtless look terrible.
