the best post so far (it’s early though) summarizing the spyware issue with Apple’s new version of iTunes: Cynicism and stupidity at the iTunes ministore. If Apple had only made this opt-in instead of opt-out – and informed users of what opting in meant – everything would be different. It’s disappointing that Apple didn’t know better.

I never really paid much attention
to ThinkGeek before, but this PowerSquid Outlet Multiplier – basically a power bar that you can use without wasting outlets on power bricks – got my attention. I wish there were a Canadian ThinkGeek though. Is there?
The art news today
comes from Paris, where a man attacked Marcel Duchamp’s Fountain with a hammer on Wednesday. What some stories – but not all – are neglecting to mention is that the man, a 76-year-old, is himself a performance artist, he’s not simply a disgruntled classicist or anything like that.

a story in which it seems that Microsoft’s MSN service has taken down Chinese blogger’s site. Note that the suggestion is that MSN has done this, not that the Chinese government is responsible. Definitely a story to continue follow very closely.
