Tomorrow night

will be fun meeting some of the locals who keep weblogs. I’ve met tons and tons of supahwebfriends before, including hosting about 25 Café Utne friends last summer here in Montreal so I’m not in the least nervous. FYI, I’ll likely be there a bit before 6, so don’t worry about showing up a bit early, or late for that matter.

Artbyte is a pretty good magazine, although I’ve worked their side of the street for long enough that I don’t often come across anything new in it, really. But the navigation thing they use on the left is neat. Blocks!

Derek Powazek

Derek Powazek put up his pictures from SXSW. I’m new to weblogging and sort of an outsider considering that my web life isn’t really as a designer but in content and management (and of course virtual communities), so I didn’t feel the deep yearning to go there that some did. But Derek’s pics are beautiful, and really show off a lovely group of folks.
